Our Services
For Children
While many orthodontic treatments can start during the teen years, some children require earlier intervention in order to prevent problems from worsening, take advantage of growth, and increase the success of treatment later on.
For Teens
Many orthodontic treatments are provided during the teen years, once all permanent teeth are in. This usually involves Braces or Invisalign to align the teeth and correct the bite relationship.
For Adults
It is never too late to seek orthodontic treatment. Dr. Kader treats many adults with Braces or Invisalign, either for full treatment, or for limited treatment in conjunction with other dental treatments such as implants, crowns or veneers.
Braces
Dr. Kader offers patients the choice of tooth-colored Ceramic Braces, Metal Self-Ligating Braces (no elastic ties needed), or colourful braces that have elastic ties. Each system has its own advantages, and Dr. Kader can help to recommend if one type is better suited for you.
Invisalign
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment modality that is a more esthetic alternative to regular braces, involving a series of custom-fabricated, clear, removable aligner trays. The aligners gradually move the teeth and are changed at prescribed intervals.
Retainers
Regardless of which type of orthodontic treatment is performed, teeth have a tendency to move back toward their original position following treatment, and retainers are therefore provided to hold the orthodontic correction.
